Wukong is an AI-powered browser and search tool. arbbra was commissioned to lead its full brand reconstruction, covering brand narrative, IP character design, logo system, and visual language.

The golden headband was never just a restraint.

The first move in this brand reconstruction was to reread the Wukong myth. In the original story, the headband is a constraint — an instrument of control placed on the Monkey King against his will. But look at it differently: it senses, responds, and acts with immediate precision. These are exactly the defining qualities of an AI search tool. We didn't discard the headband. We gave it a new identity. In the age of AI, it is no longer what holds Wukong back — it is the sharpest instrument in his hand.

That reinterpretation opened the entire visual system.

The IP character is rendered in vivid, luminous color, matching Wukong's innate energy and irreverence. He was never a character who followed the rules, and the visual identity shouldn't be either. The richness and unpredictability of the color palette is the brand's opening statement to its users: there aren't many rules here. Come as you are.

The curved line of the golden headband is extracted and developed into the brand's core graphic language, applied across every layer of the visual system. That curve carries tension in itself — it bends, it moves, it is always ready to shift. Lifted from the IP and allowed to grow as a standalone graphic element, it carries Wukong's spirit into every corner of the brand.

Free. Restless. Uncontained. This is not only Wukong's character — it is the feeling this product wants to give its users. The brand reconstruction's job was to take that out of the story and make it visible.
