Rednow is a curated drama ranking column under Hongguo Short Drama, dedicated to spotlighting and promoting standout short-form content. arbbra was responsible for the complete visual identity, covering the core visual system and brand application.

A ranking does two things: it focuses, and it radiates.

Focus is the act of curation — locking onto what genuinely deserves to be seen from an ocean of content. Radiation is the act of transmission — letting what has been chosen break beyond its original boundaries and reach further. These two directions appear to oppose each other, yet together they form the complete logic of what a ranking exists to do. The visual system takes both forces and builds them into the same image.

The visual language draws its texture from lens flares, light halos, and the grain of television screens. These are not decorative choices — they are the most direct response to what short drama actually is. Short drama is born on screens, spreads through screens, and is brought to life by the people watching behind them. The focused intensity of a camera lens creates tension and ceremony in the image, like a spotlight cutting through to isolate what deserves to be seen. The halo's outward spread dissolves the frame's edges, letting energy radiate from the center with a wave that doesn't stop. The television texture grounds the entire system in something familiar — the oldest medium between content and audience.

Together, these three elements construct a single image: something is being struck by light, the glow is moving outward, and the screen is alive.

That is both how the ranking works, and what a short drama looks like at the moment it breaks.

Rednow's visual language is that moment of impact.
